What is the difference between tea and tisane?

Tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant and contains theine (tea’s version of caffeine). Tisanes (herbal infusions) are made from herbs, fruits, flowers, or roots and do not contain theine.

Can I drink tea during pregnancy?

Yes—in moderation. Choose caffeine-free herbal blends like chamomile, ginger, or rooibos, and always consult your healthcare provider.

How long should I steep my tea?

  • Green tea: 2–3 minutes

  • Black tea: 3–5 minutes

  • Oolong: 4–7 minutes

  • Herbal tisanes: 5–10 minutes

Adjust steeping time to taste. For a stronger brew, steep longer.

How do I store tea to keep it fresh?

Store in an airtight container away from light, heat, moisture. Avoid placing tea near the stove or sources of heat.

How long does tea last once opened?

If stored properly, tea can last 12 to 24 months. Black and fermented teas tend to have longer shelf lives than green or white teas.

Are your teas organic and natural?

Yes. Our loose-leaf teas are organic and contain no artificial flavors or chemical additives. Many of our blends are certified organic, while others use traditional farming methods that align with organic values. We prioritize quality, sustainability, and fair trade practices.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes. We ship across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Please check your country’s import tariffs, as they are not covered by Atelier So Lovely Inc.

Important: Customers are responsible for paying any import duties, customs fees, or tariffs applicable in their destination country. Atelier So Lovely Inc. does not collect or remit these charges, and they are not included in the purchase or shipping price.

Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for unused, unopened products in original packaging. Contact us to request a return authorization.

Note: For food safety reasons, opened teas, tea bags, and partially used items cannot be returned. Gift cards and final sale items are also non-refundable.

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days.

Are your teas pesticide-free?

Yes. We source from farmers who follow traditional, chemical-free practices and prioritize natural pest control methods.

Do your teas contain nuts or gluten?

Some blends contain nuts (clearly listed in the ingredients). While not certified gluten-free, our teas are made in gluten-free environments.
